I take this opportunity to convey my warm greetings and felicitations to the members of the Indian community and friends of India in Bahrain on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day of India.
The theme for Independence Day 2024 is "Viksit Bharat" (developed India) which is in sync with Govt of India's vision to transform country into a Developed Nation by 2047, marking the 100th year of Independence.
Embassy of India, Bahrain is committed to taking political exchanges, defence and higher education cooperation, trade and economic relations and people-to-people linkages with the friendly Kingdom of Bahrain t o new heights and call upon the Indian community to continue to actively support the rapid growth of India-Bahrain relations.
India's rich culture is appreciated across the world and is exemplified by the vibrant Indian community in Bahrain.
They are a key pillar in our two-way relationship. On this occasion, I wish continued progress, well-being and prosperity to the friendly people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
