The MP further said the Kingdom of Bahrain and India enjoy strong relations spanning decades, founded on a solid foundation of trade, economic and cultural cooperation.
This strategic partnership is constantly witnessing further development and expansion in light of the shared keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to enhance prospects for cooperation in various fields. On the commercial and economic level, the MP stressed that Bahrain has been the main gateway for India to the Arabian Gulf region throughout a long history.

The presence of the large Indian community in Bahrain deepens the social and cultural ties between the two friendly countries, and that this cultural and social interaction has had a positive impact on enhancing mutual understanding and respect between the peoples of the two countries.
