Bahrain Welcomes Efforts to Support Humanitarian Situation in Sudan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed Bahrain's strong support for the efforts made by participating countries and organizations at the Geneva Conference to address the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
The conference aimed to provide aid and support to the Sudanese people, whose living conditions have deteriorated significantly due to the ongoing war.
Bahrain particularly welcomed the decision by Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council to open the Adre border crossing to facilitate the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized Bahrain's unwavering commitment to Sudan's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
It also called upon all parties involved in the conflict to ensure the safety of humanitarian workers and to facilitate the unimpeded delivery of aid to all conflict-affected areas.
