The Government Hospitals have issued a statement addressing a video circulating on social media yesterday, showing a partial ceiling collapse in one of the departments at Salmaniya Hospital.
The statement confirmed that comprehensive maintenance works are ongoing at the Salmaniya Medical Complex, while assuring that operational activities continue as usual in all departments.
The Government Hospitals reassured the public that no injuries were reported due to the ceiling collapse, as the affected area was closed at the time of the incident.
All necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of everyone, the statement added.
