Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the National Committee for Human Rights has reaffirmed the Kingdom’s role in strengthening international solidarity and partnerships for humanitarian aid. This effort reflects Bahrain’s values and religious principles, guided by the diplomatic approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

On World Humanitarian Day, the Minister expressed pride in the royal vision and the government’s strategy under His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The aim is to advance humanitarian work at all levels—national, regional, and global.

He praised the Royal Humanitarian Foundation’s work, led by His Majesty the King and overseen by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Foundation’s support for orphans, widows, and vulnerable groups, along with its 58 relief and development projects across 16 countries, including aid to Palestinians, was applauded by His Excellency.

The Minister also acknowledged the initiatives of His Majesty the King, which were endorsed by the 33rd Arab Summit. These include the call for an international peace conference in the Middle East, support for a Palestinian state, and efforts to ensure humanitarian aid reaches those in need while protecting civilians and aid workers.

Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani confirmed Bahrain’s role as an active international partner in promoting human solidarity, peaceful coexistence, and multilateral cooperation on sustainable development and conflict resolution, as outlined in the National Human Rights Plan (2022-2026).
