Shura Council's Secretary-General, HE Karima Al Abbasi, revealed that the council is moving ahead with technology-based plans to improve legislative functions.

In a recent meeting with top officials from the General Secretariat, Al Abbasi laid out the blueprint for the third sitting of the sixth legislative term. Building on previous work, the focus for the next convening period will be on strengthening administrative, technical, and research capabilities, in line with the strategic plan for 2024-2026.

The Secretary-General acknowledged the efforts and progress of the General Secretariat staff, stressing the need for ongoing improvements within Bahrain's legislative framework.

These actions are in step with the vision of Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, aimed at enabling members to carry out their national responsibilities while reflecting the development goals set by His Majesty the King.
