Dr Al Dallal: Bahraini Women Rise on Global Stage, Driven by SCW’s Ongoing Efforts

Shura member HE Dr Ebtisam Al Dallal, stated that Bahraini women have advanced significantly since the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) was established. This progress has not only expanded their roles but has also raised their standing in society. She acknowledged Bahrain’s reputation for safeguarding women's rights and promoting their influence, positioning the kingdom as a regional and global frontrunner.
She added that the Supreme Council for Women continues to serve as a stronghold for addressing women’s issues, furthering Bahrain's example in this sphere.
Al Dallal also expressed her appreciation for the Council's ongoing drive to introduce fresh initiatives, programmes, and joint strategies, crafted through direct cooperation with the government and the legislative bodies. She pointed to Bahrain’s modern legislative framework, which enhances support, opportunity, and development for women, working alongside men, across all sectors.
