The Ministry of Labour is reaffirming its dedication to fostering collaboration among the three key production parties — company management, workers’ representatives, and government bodies — to resolve labour disputes and create a stable work environment.

This commitment was highlighted by H.E. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Minister of Labour, who praised the role of joint committees in maintaining the rights of all parties involved, thereby enhancing the stability of the labour market and attracting new investment opportunities to the Kingdom.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Ministry’s initiatives have led to a significant reduction in labour complaints, with 764 individual disputes successfully resolved by the end of June.

These efforts are part of a broader strategy to ensure that both employers and workers fully understand and adhere to their rights and obligations under the Private Sector Labour Law.

Consultations

This has been further supported by the provision of 3,211 labour consultations, which have helped prevent misunderstandings and potential conflicts in the workplace.

The Ministry’s mediation efforts have been so effective that no collective labour disputes have reached the courts in the past four years, a testament to the success of the collaborative approach.

The Ministry of Labour continues to be a cornerstone in maintaining a harmonious and productive labour market in the Kingdom, ensuring that all parties benefit from the stability and growth that such cooperation fosters.
