Bahrain Set to Host Inaugural ENT Congress in September

Preparations are well underway for Bahrain’s first ENT Congress, scheduled for 4th September. Government hospitals are joining forces with the Royal Medical Services, with Education Plus overseeing the event’s organisation.
The conference’s programme has been finalised, with speakers and lecturers confirmed by the scientific committee. Dr Maryam Sahwan, who leads the ENT and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at government hospitals, noted that the event will tackle a range of pressing topics. Aimed at doctors, consultants, and specialists in ENT, it will also welcome surgical and outpatient nurses, as well as medical students and interns.
Sahwan mentioned that experts from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, and Egypt will be in attendance, along with German expert Thomas Lenarz and Spanish specialist Javier Gavilán, both known for their vast expertise.
