The second phase of groundwork for four new buildings as part of the ongoing expansion at Tubli WPCC Wastewater Treatment Plant has been completed.
The Ministry of Works stated that 26% of the project is now done. The goal is to ensure the plant runs smoothly, with all the necessary facilities and support services in place.
During this second phase, a workshop and maintenance building will be put up, covering roughly 2,717 square metres, along with essential external works.
Previously, the first phase included the construction of the operations and management building and a laboratory, as well as external works and related facilities, spanning about 8,340 square metres.
The project’s design follows modern construction standards, featuring elements that reflect today’s needs.
Sustainability remains a focus, with green building standards and energy-saving measures woven into the plans to protect the environment and preserve natural resources.
