Bahraini Tourist's Bag Stolen by Professional Female Gang in Istanbul, Quickly Recovered by Police

A Bahraini tourist in Istanbul fell victim to a professional female gang of thieves, but thanks to quick action by Turkish police, her stolen bag was recovered.

The incident occurred in the bustling "Beyoğlu" district of Istanbul, a popular shopping destination.

According to the Turkish newspaper "Hurriyet", the Bahraini woman was shopping in a commercial center on Sunday when she misplaced her bag, which she had left in her stroller.

She reported the theft to the police, who swiftly launched an investigation using the extensive CCTV network within the shopping center.

The investigation revealed that three women had entered the store while the Bahraini tourist was shopping. One of them snatched the bag, concealed it under a shirt, and left the store.

The police quickly identified the suspects and apprehended them before they could leave the area in a taxi.

The investigation further revealed that the three women had a long history of theft, with a combined total of 368 thefts.

The thieves had attempted to disguise their identities by wearing black niqabs. However, the detailed CCTV footage allowed the police to quickly identify and arrest them.
