BDF Conducts Medical Evacuation Drill to Boost Emergency Response

The Royal Medical Services of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has staged a medical evacuation drill at the Mohammed Bin Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialist Cardiac Centre. The event was observed by Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services.
The drill focused on ensuring preparedness for managing accidents and emergencies by strengthening coordination with relevant authorities. The goal was to guarantee comprehensive protection for individuals and the safety of both patients and staff, while instilling confidence and security through the formation of a medical and technical team adept at handling emergency injuries.
Regular training exercises, involving cooperation with various agencies, are conducted by the Royal Medical Services to assess and refine their response capabilities. This includes preparing for large-scale patient influxes during emergencies to improve reaction times and overall effectiveness.
Brigadier Ali Al Kubaisi, General Director of Civil Defence, along with representatives from the Kingdom’s health and civil defence sectors, attended the drill.
