MP Dr. Maryam Al Dhaen has praised the decision by the Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed Juma to introduce digital tutoring lessons across Bahrain. This initiative, she noted, is a significant step towards improving the quality of education in the Kingdom.
Dr. Al Dhaen highlighted that the digital tutoring service will offer accessible and effective reinforcement lessons for students throughout Bahrain, aligning with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s vision for sustainable development and a brighter future for the nation.
She emphasized that this move will ease the financial and emotional burden on parents, while also leveraging modern technology and digital transformation to enhance educational services.
She also referred to a proposal she had submitted in October 2023, suggesting the broadcast of tutoring lessons on a Bahrain TV channel.
This proposal draws on successful international practices of using dedicated channels for educational content, aimed at boosting students’ academic performance.
Dr. Al Dhaen explained that digital tutoring would allow students to access a range of educational resources remotely, including videos and interactive tests. This approach offers personalized education, catering to individual student needs and enabling teachers to provide tailored support.
The initiative is part of Bahrain Vision 2030, which focuses on digital transformation and technology’s role in education. Dr. Al Dhaen described digital tutoring as a forward-thinking step that ensures high-quality education is accessible to all students, regardless of their location.
Dr. Al Dhaen commended the Minister of Education for his commitment to enhancing the educational process, noting that this decision reflects his dedication to the well-being and future success of students.
