HH Shaikh Nasser leads Royal Endurance team in pre-championship inspection

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and captain of the Royal Endurance Team, attended the veterinary inspection for the World Endurance Championship.
Shaikh Nasser will helm the Royal Endurance Team in the upcoming championship, riding the horse Everest la Majorie.
He will be joined by fellow jockeys His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa on Fizz Fageole, Jaafar Mirza on Bolt de Venelles, Othman Al Awadhi on Ermine Dartagnan, and Salman Isa on Elmer de Bozouls.
Reserve jockeys include Sarhan Hameed on Be Goode and Hamad Isa on Deese la Majorie. The inspection took place at the championship village in Monpazier, France, in preparation for the 160 km race scheduled for Saturday, which will feature 145 jockeys from 39 countries.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), along with HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) High Committee, were also present. Shaikh Nasser led the final training session for the team before the championship, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the technical plan.
He highlighted the significance of the World Endurance Championship as a testament to the team’s advanced skills and performance.
Shaikh Nasser expressed confidence in the team’s prospects, noting the presence of highly skilled and experienced jockeys. He acknowledged the fierce competition at the World Championship and wished the Royal Endurance Team the best of luck in securing top ranks and retaining their title.
