The Rotary Club of Manama held a press conference yesterday at the Gulf Hotel, Manama, to officially announce the 29th Annual Six-a-Side Football Tournament, a major fundraising event supporting the club’s charitable initiatives.

The tournament is scheduled for October 4, , from 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rugby Club, bringing together teams and the local community for a day of spirited competition—all for a good cause.

The Six-a-Side Football Tournament plays a crucial role in the Rotary Club’s efforts to raise funds for its key philanthropic programs. Education for All: Ensuring access to quality education for individuals of all backgrounds, providing them with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Supporting Bahrainis Living Below the Poverty Line: Offering essential resources such as food and shelter to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable.

Chancellor Prof. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Rotary Club of Manama for 2024-2025 and Chairman of the Six-a-Side Organizing Committee, spoke about the significance of the event, stating: “Our fundraising efforts are focused on addressing some of the most pressing needs in Bahrain.
