Bahrain advances Arab space cooperation

The National Space Science Agency (NSSA) participated in the 10th session of the Arab Space Cooperation Group, held alongside The Egypt International Aviation and Space Exhibition 2024 in New Alamein City.
The event, attended by leaders from Arab space agencies and key officials, produced important recommendations aimed at improving space collaboration and supporting sustainable development through space technology. Dr Mohamed Al Aseeri, CEO of NSSA, led Bahrain’s delegation and reported on the latest updates and proposals from the 14 Arab member states.
The discussions covered outcomes from working groups focused on joint space projects and capacity building.
Bahrain showcased its achievements since the last meeting and engaged in talks about enhancing future Arab space efforts. Dr Al Aseeri praised the Egyptian Space Agency for its role in organising the event, which was crucial for advancing regional space cooperation.
