Fan Dies During Handball Super Cup Semifinal in Bahrain

An Ahli Club fan, Saeed Al Zimoor, passed away during the handball Super Cup semifinal match between Al Shabab and Al Ahli. The tragic incident occurred while Al Zimoor cheered for his team at the Bahrain Handball Association Hall.
Al Zimoor suffered a medical emergency during the penalty shootout phase of the match. Security personnel, the Bahrain Handball Association organizers, and fellow fans immediately called for an ambulance to save him. Sadly, he passed away while en route to the hospital.
Following the incident, the Bahrain Handball Association announced the postponement of the Super Cup final until further notice.
