Interior Ministry official meets families of Bahraini citizens detained in Yemen

His Excellency Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, held a meeting with the families of the five Bahraini citizens detained in Yemen for security-related reasons. During the meeting, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman briefed the families on the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to coordinate and communicate with the Yemeni authorities regarding the situation.
He emphasised the Ministry of Interior’s commitment, since its initial statement on August 22, 2024, to ensuring the detainees’ safety and health. The Ministry continues to monitor their well-being and follow up on the legal procedures being undertaken by Yemeni authorities.
