MP Dr. Maryam Al Dhaen yesterday celebrated the success of Bahrain’s by-elections, praising the active engagement of citizens in the democratic process. Al Dhaen lauded the strong voter turnout and the commitment of Bahrainis to participate effectively in shaping their governance, reflecting a high level of political awareness and maturity in the nation’s democratic experience.

Dr. Al Dhaen highlighted the significance of the elections, noting that they coincided with the International Day of Democracy, which added a special dimension to the event. She emphasized that this occasion underscores Bahrain’s dedication to democratic principles and showcases the collaborative spirit the Kingdom aims to foster.

In her remarks, Al Dhaen credited the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their ongoing efforts to advance democratic values and create a conducive environment for political participation.
