Municipalities and government collaborate to enhance services

The sixth meeting of the Cooperation Committee between the Capital Municipal Council and Municipal Councils, and government agencies was held, chaired by His Excellency Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture.

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture, focused on discussing key service-related issues.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasised the importance of collaboration between government agencies, the Capital Municipality Council, and Municipal Councils in implementing priority plans and programmes.

He highlighted the commitment to continuing efforts in a comprehensive framework to achieve desired goals and aspirations.

The meeting included a presentation by the Ministry of Health on their plans for hospitals and health centres in the Northern Governorate, aiming to enhance services for all members of the community.

Discussions also centered on the issuance of regulatory requirements for residential project areas and a comprehensive guide for these projects.

This initiative comes in response to rapid urban changes and the growing desire of beneficiaries to expand and optimize their building space
