Bahrain, Iraq Strengthen Labour Ties in High-Level Meeting

Nibras Taleb, the CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, held a meeting with Ahmed Ismail Ibrahim Al Kurwi, the Chargé d'affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Bahrain. The discussion took place at the LMRA's headquarters.
The focus of the meeting was on strengthening the ties between Bahrain and Iraq. Both parties emphasised the importance of collaboration and sharing expertise in labour market development. Taleb highlighted Bahrain's ongoing efforts to improve working conditions and protect the rights of all stakeholders.
The conversation also touched on key Bahraini initiatives, such as the Wages Protection System, designed to increase transparency and uphold workers' rights.
