Tender board opens bids for security guards, water services and more

The Bahrain Tender Board has opened 18 tenders and one auction, receiving 100 bids in total. Notable projects include security services for schools, the central market master plan, and a new access point to the express cargo village. The Ministry of Education sought bids for security guards to protect all schools, administrative buildings, and educational facilities. 10 bids were received, with the lowest offer reaching BD 4.9 million.

The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) opened a tender for outsourcing maintenance centers for the water distribution department, aiming to enhance customer service. 5 bids were submitted, with the lowest at BD 5.6 million. Three companies bid on the Edamah project for the central market master plan in Manama. The lowest bid was BD 502,200.

The Dana Theatre auctioned off beverage vending facilities for a three-year lease. Five facilities were available, with the option for a single bidder or individual bids depending on the quality of proposals. Two bids were received, the lowest being BD 10,000.

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments opened a tender for car park maintenance, landscaping, and additional works at the Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic Center. The lowest bid was BD 47,300. The Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture opened a tender for supervisory and consulting services for landscaping and maintenance of parks and green spaces. The lowest bid was BD 224,200. The Council of Representatives opened a tender for two Bahraini technicians to support IT services for two years.

The lowest bid was BD 3,100. The Shura Council opened a tender for cleaning, hospitality, and office services, including coffee, tea, and refreshments for guests, the presidency, the general secretariat, and staff. The lowest bid was BD 10,100.

Bapco opened two tenders, one for manufacturing and supplying advanced process control services, and another for purchasing and supplying carbon steel pipes, elbows, and structures for high-temperature use. The lowest bid for the second tender was BD 37,700. Bapco Exploration and Production opened a tender for a rail service platform and related services. The lowest bid was BD 7,616,000.
