NMS Bahrain initiates TED ED Club with Ardour

New Millennium School, Bahrain inaugurated its first ever TED ED CLUB on 12th September.
Inspired by the works of the world-renowned TED Ed organization across the globe, the Club was conceived to help students discover, research, explore and present their ideas in the form of short, TED-style talks.. Students from Grades 6 to 12 had joined the inaugural session with enamoured ardour and passion.
The club, led by Sagar Asnani, a Class 10 student, along with the teacher mentors, aims to enhance critical thinking, communication, and creativity of the students and prepare them to emerge as future global leaders.
Going in line with the school’s mission of ‘Discover the Child’, the school has initiated many club activities in the school covering the varied genres of students’ interests.
The TED ED Club was inaugurated by the school Principal, Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma, who praised the initiative taken by the students and the teachers to enrich the oratory culture and hold on the school’s commitment to holistic education.
Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Geetha Pillai extended their warmest wishes to the team and complimented the efforts put in by the students and the teachers in initiating such activities which are a testimony to the fact that learning @ NMS aims at all round development of the child.
