The Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ardi Hermawan, has praised Bahrain’s dedication to resolving regional issues through peaceful means, reaffirming Indonesia’s support for the Kingdom's diplomatic efforts. Ambassador Hermawan made these remarks during a reception held to mark Indonesia’s 79th National Day celebration, which took place yesterday in Manama.
“Indonesia fully supports Bahrain’s initiatives to address regional concerns, and we stand in solidarity with the Palestinian cause,” Hermawan said during his speech at the event. His statement highlighted the growing collaboration between Indonesia and Bahrain, particularly in their shared commitment to peace and humanitarian initiatives in the Middle East.
The National Day reception featured a vibrant cultural display, including traditional Indonesian dance performances by community members, showcasing the rich heritage of the Southeast Asian nation. The event concluded with a ceremonial cake-cutting, symbolizing the strong ties between Indonesia and Bahrain.
The reception was attended by Bahraini officials, diplomats, and members of the Indonesian expatriate community, further solidifying the strong bilateral relations between the two countries. Ambassador Hermawan emphasized the importance of these partnerships in fostering peace and cooperation, particularly during turbulent times in the region.
