Two Filipinos receive Mideast medical awards

Two distinguished medical professionals from the Kingdom of Bahrain were recognised as awardees of The Filipino Times Watchlist: Top Healthcare Professionals in the Middle East Awards 2024. This was conferred in a ceremony at an international summit held at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai, UAE last September 20, 2024.

Dental hygienist Grace B. Estacio and nurse Gilbert T. Salacup have managed an enviable achievement, being declared as two of the 129 winners from 605 nominees among Filipino healthcare professionals in the Middle East.

The Filipino Times Watchlist: Top Healthcare Professionals in the Middle East Awards 2024 is the most important gathering of Filipino healthcare professionals in the region that recognises and honours the work of the healthcare professional whose contribution to their fields has made such significant impacts on their respective communities, whether it be in the field of nursing, medicine, dentistry, biotechnology, radiology, pharmacy, health policy, or general health concerns.

Her Excellency Anne Jalando-on Louis, the Ambassador of the Philippines to Bahrain, congratulated the Filipino healthcare awardees.
