Bahrain has urged for stronger collaboration with international partners to tackle environmental and technological challenges during a key summit in Equatorial Guinea, focusing on peaceful solutions and sustainable development initiatives.
At the summit held in Malabo, co-hosted with the Senate of Equatorial Guinea, Shura’s Second Deputy Chairman Dr Jehad Al Fadhel emphasised the growing relevance of parliamentary diplomacy in promoting global peace and prosperity.
The gathering, centered on enhancing joint parliamentary action for southern countries to address development challenges and environmental issues, concluded yesterday.
Dr Al Fadhel reiterated Bahrain’s approach to resolving conflicts through peaceful dialogue, echoing His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s proposal for an international peace conference in the Middle East.
