His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Anura Kumara Dissanayake following his recent victory in the presidential elections and his inauguration as President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
In a congratulatory cable, His Majesty commended President Dissanayake on his achievement and expressed his sincere wishes for success in his forthcoming term. HM King Hamad emphasized the importance of fulfilling the aspirations and hopes of the friendly Sri Lankan people, wishing them continued progress and prosperity.
The King also underscored the significance of the strong ties between Bahrain and Sri Lanka, expressing hope that the existing relations between the two nations will continue to develop and flourish in the future
