Aspiring Bahraini chef Amar Al Hasan has earned a prestigious spot in the upcoming World Food Championship, which will be held in Indianapolis, United States. The globally renowned event brings together top chefs from around the world to showcase their culinary skills, creativity, and passion for food in a competition that draws immense international attention.
The World Food Championship, known as the largest food sport competition globally, will feature over 300 competitive cooking teams vying for the coveted title of World Food Champion. The tournament is divided into 12 categories, and spectators can watch as chefs push the boundaries of cooking mastery, aiming to win top honors.
Reflecting on his journey, Amar Al Hasan shared, "After 12 years in the corporate world, I made the bold decision to leave behind a stable career and pursue my lifelong passion for becoming a chef. With a deep connection to food and a dream of representing Bahrain on the global culinary stage, I embarked on this journey to master the art of cooking. Now, competing in the prestigious World Food Championship, my goal is to bring Bahraini flavors to the global stage while continuously growing as a culinary artist."

The World Food Championship’s opening rounds will take place on November 9 and 10, followed by the final rounds on November 11 and 12.
