Students take part in ‘Visit Embassy’ programme

The Embassy of India, Bahrain has organised two phases of the “Visit Embassy” programme, an initiative launched by Ambassador H.E. Mr. Vinod K. Jacob, with the objective of familiarising students studying in the Kingdom with the functioning of the Indian Embassy.

A total of 160 students from nine educational institutes in Bahrain participated in the programme, in two phases in 2023 and 2024.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with officials of the Embassy where they were briefed about various roles and different sections of the Embassy.

The students were also briefed about various initiatives and exhibitions at the Embassy. Insights They also gained insights into the historical and cultural significance of the Embassy building and its architectural features, and the art it displays.

Ambassador Jacob also interacted with the students. The students had the opportunity to pose questions, grasp the complexities of diplomacy, and learn about the Embassy’s role in promoting India-Bahrain relations
