HM the King receives royal family, officials, top students

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received senior members of the royal family, officials, citizens, and top-performing students from different educational levels today at Sakhir Palace.
   
His Majesty welcomed the attendees, highlighting the importance of such gatherings in fostering strong connections within the Bahraini community. 

He emphasised that these meetings reflect Bahrain’s long-standing traditions, deeply rooted in Arab heritage, which have been passed down through generations and remain an integral part of Bahraini society.
  
Following a recitation of the Holy Quran, HM the King delivered a speech, in which he congratulated the students on their remarkable academic achievements and successes in regional and international competitions. 

His Majesty attributed their accomplishments to Bahrain’s education system, which has been in place for over a century, and praised the nation's wealth of intellectual talent as the foundation of its cultural prosperity and advancement.
  
HM the King reaffirmed the role of education in in combatting all forms of extremism that oppose peace, reiterating the nation’s dedication to peace and fostering strong relations with neighbouring countries, as highlighted in the recent Arab summit.  

His Majesty emphasised Bahrain’s steadfast stance against escalation and incitement, calling for respect for human and religious values, and maintaining regional stability.
  
His Majesty voiced concern over the devastating impact of wars and unjustified conflicts in various countries, urging their leaders to reassess their positions and prioritise the well-being of their people. 

His Majesty said that focus must be on the provision of essential services, such as healthcare, education, housing, and employment, to ensure a dignified life for all citizens.
  
HM the King concluded by praying for peace and security worldwide and expressed appreciation for the unity and loyalty of the Bahraini people in safeguarding the nation’s stability.
  
Following that, His Majesty met with the outstanding students, commending their efforrtsa and the ongoing development of Bahrain’s educational system with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Majesty said the recognition of outstanding students, who a valuable asset, also includes their parents and educators at all levels.

In celebration of World Teachers' Day, observed on October 5 each year, HM the King extended his congratulations to teachers, recognising their critical role in education, value-building, and fostering the spirit of citizenship. His Majesty reaffirmed Bahrain’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and advancing its future aspirations.
 
Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, the Minister of Education, delivered a speech expressing gratitude on behalf of the educational community to HM the King for welcoming a distinguished group of students who have excelled both locally and internationally.
   
He said that this occasion was a proud moment for the educational community, reflecting His Majesty’s commitment to engaging with citizens from all sectors. Dr. Juma acknowledged HM the King's approach, which inspires the community to serve the Kingdom. He expressed deep appreciation for His Majesty’s continued support, which has significantly advanced education and driven efforts to enhance the system and its outcomes.
  
Dr. Juma also highlighted the support provided by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, through various educational projects and programmes. This support aligns with HM the King’s vision for Bahrain to excel in multiple domains, particularly in education.
  
The minister congratulated His Majesty on the commencement of the new academic year, facilitated by the efforts of the government, which will positively impact the Ministry’s responsibilities.
  
He emphasised that with the guidance of HM the King and the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education continues its efforts to further develop the educational system.
  
Dr. Juma said the audience with His Majesty would leave a lasting positive impression on students, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity under HM the King’s leadership.
  
On their part, attendees expressed their pleasure with the gathering, reflecting the close bond between the leader and his people. They praised His Majesty’s constant care for citizens' well-being and Bahrain’s accomplishments over his 25-year reign, made possible by his vision.

First category: Top Students with distinction from Government Schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain:
 
1.  Zahra’a Abdullah Hassan Jaffar Baqer Al Aswad, with a GPA of 99.7% from Al Shorooq Secondary Girls School.
2.  Haneen Ayman Ahmed Hayat, with a GPA of 99.7% from Saar Secondary School for Girls.
3.  Hawra’a Fadhel Ahmed Al Khayyat, with a GPA of 99.7% from Jidhafs Secondary Girls School.
 
Second category: Outstanding Students from Government Schools with Regional and International Achievements:
 
4.  Batool Sayed Alawi Mahdi Hussain, from Jidhafs Secondary Girls School, who won the gold medal in the Arabic Language Competition in the United Arab Emirates, held under the supervision of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States.
 
5.  Elyazi Saeed Ahmed Bin Dainah, from Al Isteqlal Secondary Girls School, who secured second place in the Gulf Robotics Olympiad held in Oman.
 
6.  Muneera Mohammed Ahmed Al Busmait, from Al Isteqlal Secondary Girls School, who secured second place in the Gulf Robotics Olympiad held in Oman.
 
7.  Fatima Jassem Mohammed Al Aradi, from Al Isteqlal Secondary Girls School, who secured second place in the Gulf Robotics Olympiad held in Oman.
 
8.  Fatima Jassem Abbas Qasim, from Al Isteqlal Secondary Girls School, who secured second place in the Gulf Robotics Olympiad held in Oman.
 
9.  Hamza Walid Sayyed Mohammed Jumaa, from Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology, who secured second place in the Robotics Arena at the Gulf Robotics Olympiad held in the Sultanate of Oman.
 
10.  Hamad Abdullah Abdulhadi Abdullah, who secured second place in the Gulf Robotics Olympiad held in Oman.
 
Third category: Top Students from Private Schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain (from schools rated as oustanding):
 
11.  Lama Bassam Mohammed Al Miraj, from Bahrain Bayan School, with a GPA of 100%.
12.  Zain Khalid Murtadha Al Rais, from Bahrain Bayan School, with a GPA of 100%.
13.  Abdulrahman Abdulrahim Al Sayed Ahmed, from Ibn Khuldoon National School, with a GPA of 100%.
14.  Abdullah Mohammed Abdullah Abdulrahim, from Ibn Khuldoon National School, with a GPA of 100%.
 
Fourth category: Outstanding Students from the University of Bahrain with Regional and International Achievements:
 
15.  Rahma Mirza Hassan Hassan, majoring in Engineering, with a cumulative GPA of 4.0 and winner of first place in the undergraduate category for her research on the optimal production of bacterial cellulose and its applications in the biodegradation of agricultural industrial waste at the 14th GIPC Conference.
 
16.  Yousef Khalid Yaqoub Al Qattan, majoring in Engineering, with a cumulative GPA of 3.62 and winner of the Nebula Space Award from Austria.
 
Fifth category: Outstanding Students from Private Higher Education Institutions:
 
17.  Khalid Hameed Ahmed Abdullah Hussain, from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain, has published high-level international peer-reviewed research.

18.  Asal Ibrahim Abd Ali Khalil Bu Hassan, from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain, has published high-level international peer-reviewed research.
