A local café's shisha attendant has been cleared of embezzlement and theft charges after a court determined the accusations were malicious and unsupported by sufficient evidence. The case revealed a potential motive for revenge linked to a previous dispute between the café owner and the attendant’s brother. The Public Prosecution had alleged that the Arab national had embezzled cash and stolen shisha tobacco (mu’assel).
