RCSI Bahrain Strengthens Ties with Strathclyde University in Key Higher Education Talks

The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) Medical University of Bahrain welcomed executive members from the University of Strathclyde – Bahrain to its campus last week.
The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration in the field of Higher Education.
During the visit, both institutions discussed the educational programmes offered in Bahrain and examined potential areas for joint research and projects of mutual interest.
The discussions focused on enhancing academic collaboration and exploring ways to contribute to the development of Bahrain’s education sector.
Professor Sameer Otoom, President of RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, congratulated the University of Strathclyde – Bahrain on the recent opening of its new campus.
He highlighted the significance of their contribution to the Higher Education landscape in the country.
“We extend a warm welcome to our new colleagues from the University of Strathclyde – Bahrain and appreciate the valuable role they play in expanding undergraduate programmes.
This partnership will benefit Bahraini youth and further establish the Kingdom of Bahrain as a leading Higher Education hub,” said Professor Otoom.
The meeting marked a positive step towards strengthening the academic ties between the two institutions and enhancing the overall educational experience for students in Bahrain.
