Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, reaffirmed Bahrain’s deep appreciation for the dedication and contributions of all education sector staff, particularly teachers, in shaping the nation’s future.
The minister praised educators for their tireless efforts in imparting knowledge and fostering student growth across Bahrain's schools.
In a statement commemorating World Teachers' Day, celebrated globally on October 5, Dr. Juma expressed heartfelt gratitude to teachers for their noble and humanitarian role in molding future generations.
He emphasized the robust support Bahrain’s education sector receives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
This year’s World Teachers' Day, themed “Valuing teacher voices: Towards a new social contract for education,” encourages greater involvement of teachers in the decision-making processes that shape education policies.
Dr. Juma highlighted the importance of recognizing teachers' voices, saying it would enhance the quality and efficiency of the education system.
Dr. Juma also announced that the Ministry of Education will organize a special event next Sunday to mark the occasion, featuring broad participation from teachers in both public and private schools, as well as officials from the education sector.
This event will serve as a platform to honor educators and further strengthen their role in Bahrain's educational advancements.
