Tender Board gets competitive bids for Hamad Town Walkway

During its recent session, the Tender Board announced bids for 11 tenders on behalf of various government entities. In total, 64 proposals were submitted, vying to offer competitive rates across a range of services.

The lowest bids collectively amounted to around 3.8 million dinars, indicating a robust competition among companies eager to deliver quality services at attractive prices.

The Social Insurance Organisation (SIO) called for a tender related to debt and arrears collection, with two firms entering bids. Twinkle Debt Collection put forth an offer of 5,500 dinars.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health sought tenders for renting pickup vehicles aimed at small and medium enterprises (SMEs), with two companies responding. Go Easy Car Rental presented the lowest bid of 162,624 dinars.

Gulf Air Group requested offers for the supply of cleaning machines, spare parts, consumables, and maintenance services at Bahrain International Airport. Four companies participated, with the most competitive bid coming from Mahmood Akbar Alireza at 890,611 dinars.

Additionally, the group opened another tender for security services, which attracted ten bidders, the lowest being Delta Security Services Co at 27,344 dinars. The Electricity and Water Authority issued two tenders.

The first was for the procurement of ductile iron pipes, fittings, and valves, which saw four companies vying for the contract. The most favourable bid was 1,983,688 dinars from United Enterprises Trading Co.

The second tender aimed at corrective maintenance, planned preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs for the water boosting stations, with the lowest bid standing at 47,641 dinars from Comsip Al A Ali.

A tender was also opened for the Ministry of Works to replace VIP and passenger lifts in Block No. 4 at the Ministry of Works Headquarters Compound in Hoora. The most competitive bid came from Gulf Integrated Vertical Solutions at 44,263 dinars.

The Labour Market Regulatory Authority sought bids for internal audit services, which saw seven companies competing, with the lowest bid recorded at 44,000 dinars from Baker Tilly JFC W.L.L. Additionally, the Northern Municipal Council requested offers for the development of the Hamad Town walkway.

Eight companies participated, with Al Zaid Construction submitting the lowest bid of 38,681 dinars. Lastly, the Civil Service Bureau sought proposals for consulting services to enhance its strategy, with two companies taking part.

The most competitive offer was from KPMG Consulting W.L.L, amounting to 561,550 dinars. The Information and eGovernment Authority also sought bids for wall-mounted surveillance screens, with 13 companies competing. The lowest bid was offered by Security Core W.L.L, at 15,672 dinars.
