The Bahrain Indonesia Business and Friendship Society (BIBFS) held a vibrant High Tea, Fashion Show, and Bazaar, at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, celebrating cultural exchange and business ties between Bahrain and Indonesia.

The event marked a significant milestone in fostering cross-cultural relationships between the two nations.

Among the distinguished attendees were H.E. Ambassador of Indonesia and other high-ranking dignitaries.

Dr. Hana Kanoo, Chairwoman of BIBFS, and Dr. Yundini Husni Djamaluddin, Chairwoman of the Indonesia Bahrain Business and Friendship Society (IBBFS), delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral cultural and business relations.

Batik Class

The evening began with an engaging Batik Class and Demonstration led by Indonesian experts Dr. Yundini Husni Djamaluddin and Rudi Hanama.

Guests were captivated by the intricate techniques of Batik, a traditional Indonesian fabric-making art, offering them a unique opportunity to explore this ancient craft. A stunning Fashion Show, showcasing a seamless fusion of Bahraini and Indonesian designs, was the highlight of the evening.

Batik creations by Rudi Hanama, along with collections by Indonesian designer Mahdalia Makkulau, and Bahraini designers Nadia Al Jar, Safia Al Mutawa, and Farah Bushehri, reflected a beautiful blend of cultural heritage.

Traditional Dance

A mesmerizing Indonesian Traditional Dance performance added an extra layer of elegance and grace to the event.

Another attraction of the event was the accompanying Bazaar that offered a diverse array of handcrafted items, fashion accessories, and artisanal products, celebrating the creativity of both nations.

The evening concluded with a grand finale where models showcased a masterpiece collection, followed by the distribution of gifts, a photo session, and a delightful high tea for the guests. Supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the event further solidified the cultural and business partnership between the two countries.
