261 Filipinos receive free medical services in embassy project

The Philippine Embassy, in cooperation with the Filipino community organisation, Triskelion International Council-Bahrain, organised a Bayanihan Medical, Dental, and Optical Consultation for Filipinos held at the Embassy.
The health consultations were also supported by the Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre, Awal Dental Specialist Center, Al Duom Optical, several Filipino doctors and physical therapists in Bahrain, and the Filcom organizations, Filipino Pharmacist Association in Bahrain, Philippine Nurses Association Bahrain, United Bicolanos in Bahrain, and the Filipino-American Community.
A total of 261 Filipinos received free services, including doctor’s consultation, physical examination, vision screening, dental examination, physical therapy, random blood testing, blood pressure check, and urine dipstick test. The Filipino Pharmacist Association in Bahrain provided free medicines and vitamins to clients. The Al Duom Optical provided free eyeglass frames.
