Minister of Youth Affairs Honors Winners of Nuun Official Watch Design Competition

HE Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, honored the winners of the "Nuun Official" watch design competition, an initiative organized in collaboration with Nuun Official as part of the Youth City 2030 events. The ceremony was attended by Talal Fakhroo, Chairman of Nuun Official, along with other dignitaries and officials.

During the event, the Minister emphasized the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to support Bahraini youth and foster their creativity. She noted that the watch design competition offered young talents an excellent platform to showcase their innovative ideas and transform them into reality. The initiative aligns with the Ministry’s vision to encourage youth innovation and provide opportunities for young designers to leave their mark on the national and creative landscape.

The competition concluded with Fawaz Mohammed receiving first-place honors for his outstanding design, while Noor Al Zahraa Jalal Jaffar was also recognized for her achievement in reaching the final stages of the competition.

Talal Fakhroo praised the collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, highlighting the positive impact such initiatives have in discovering and promoting Bahraini talent. He announced that Nuun Official would launch the winning design as part of their official collection for Bahrain’s National Day. The watch will be marketed under Fawaz Mohammed’s name, and the designer will receive a share of the total sales, with the design being available in stores and on the company’s website.

The event marked another successful milestone in the ongoing collaboration between public and private sectors to nurture and promote youth innovation in Bahrain.
