Anti-Narcotics Directorate Seizes BD116,000 Worth of Drugs, Arrests Multiple Suspects

The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has made significant arrests in a series of drug-related cases, apprehending several individuals of different nationalities, including two women.
The suspects were involved in multiple operations across the Kingdom.
During the investigations, authorities seized approximately 6 kilograms of narcotics, with an estimated street value of BD116,000. Additionally, drug money in various currencies was confiscated from the suspects.
Following comprehensive investigations, the individuals have been referred to the Public Prosecution to face legal proceedings.
The Anti-Narcotics Directorate has reaffirmed its commitment to curbing the spread of drugs in the community and urges citizens and residents to remain vigilant.
The directorate encourages the public to report any suspicious drug-related activities by calling the confidential hotline at 996 or sending an email to 996@interior.gov.bh. All information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
The directorate stressed the importance of community partnership in the fight against drug addiction, emphasizing that collaboration is key to protecting society from the harmful effects of narcotics.
