‘MEPA Unleashed’ event concludes with flying colours in Bahrain

“MEPA UNLEASHED” the Global Entrepreneurship Event concluded yesterday in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Hosted by The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Middle East, Pakistan, and Africa (MEPA) under the theme “Automate to Thrive, “the event drew over 220 participants from around the globe. The event culminated with recommendations to increase the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) across all facets of the entrepreneurship sector.
Participants underscored the critical need to prepare future generations with the skills and knowledge to effectively leverage AI, thereby driving growth within the digital economy. In addition to promoting AI adoption, the event emphasized the importance of stimulating research and analysis into AI’s far-reaching impact on the knowledge economy, sustainable development, and income diversification.

Participants also stressed the need to strengthen technology and communication infrastructure, encouraging young entrepreneurs to embrace the digital economy within their SMEs. Recognizing the importance of responsible AI implementation, participants called for the development of clear regulatory frameworks that maximize the benefits of AI while mitigating potential risks.
Furthermore, they advocated for increased public-private partnerships to drive innovation and investment in AI research to develop cutting-edge technical solutions that cater to both local and global market needs, while fostering fresh ideas that drive and enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Mr. Bob Thaker, President of EO Bahrain, expressed his enthusiasm for the successful conclusion of the gathering, stating, “This has been a truly remarkable event for our organization.
