The U.S. Embassy’s Discover America Week 2024 wrapped up with an American classic car show in partnership with Bahrain Classic Cars (BCC), the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham), and Water Garden City. U.S. Ambassador Steven C. Bondy inaugurated the car show on Friday, October 18, at the Water Garden City premises.
The car show featured a stunning display of approximately 50 American-made cars and 25 motorcycles. The show offered a nostalgic look at American automotive history while celebrating the enduring impact of U.S. innovation.
Discover America Week 2024 explored how American innovation in transportation is creating new opportunities for economic growth in Bahrain and the United States. This year’s celebration also marked a significant milestone: the 20th anniversary of the signing of the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
