Northern Governorate Municipality Launches Tender for Al Malkiya Coast Enhancement

The Northern Governorate Municipality has announced a tender for a significant upgrade to Al Malkiya Coast, as published on the Bahrain Tender Board's official website. The project encompasses the construction of a new café, public restrooms, and a service building.

Furthermore, the existing walkway and other structures will undergo improvements, encompassing all associated works. The contract duration is set at 10 months, with the project site located at Al Malkiya Beach.

This development follows numerous requests from the Northern Municipal Council to enhance the coastal area. These requests, aimed at improving the public experience, included expanding the children's play area, upgrading and regularly maintaining the playground equipment, installing security cameras for enhanced safety and monitoring, improving lighting with a focus on sustainable solar energy solutions, and creating investment opportunities for local citizens to further develop the area and expand green spaces.

The tender's issuance represents a key step in the ongoing efforts by the Northern Governorate Municipality to develop and maintain the Al Malkiya coastline, reflecting a commitment to providing improved recreational facilities for the community.
