Bahrain Strengthens Cybersecurity Efforts to Secure National Prosperity: HH Shaikh Nasser

During a high-level meeting attended by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, and Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the National Cybersecurity Center, HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the significant strides made under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. He emphasized the government's pioneering initiatives in digital transformation, noting that these efforts demonstrate Bahrain's expertise and commitment to long-term prosperity by strengthening secure digital infrastructure built on the highest cybersecurity standards.

HH Shaikh Nasser emphasized the extensive support for Bahrain’s telecommunications, information technology, and digital economy sectors, highlighting how these sectors are driven by the determination of Bahrain's loyal citizens to achieve diverse national ambitions. He added that the country’s advances in digital security have set Bahrain apart as a leading example of success while adopting the latest technological advancements and best practices.

In his address, HH Saikh Nasser expressed gratitude for the achievements that have bolstered Bahrain’s standing in cybersecurity, hoping that the National Cybersecurity Center would continue to develop its strategies in alignment with the directives of the Supreme Defense Council. He stressed that building capabilities and raising awareness in cybersecurity is essential, describing it as a "protective shield for the nation in the vast digital space." HH Sheikh Nasser underscored the shared responsibility of safeguarding Bahrain’s progress in cybersecurity and the need for ongoing national determination to ensure future development.

For his part, HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the National Cybersecurity Center, extended his deep appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser for his unwavering support. He affirmed the center’s commitment to serving Bahrain and achieving its strategic objectives, reiterating that the resolve to protect the nation in the digital age remains steadfast across all levels.
