HM King affirms support for independent judiciary

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa emphasised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to maintaining an independent judiciary, supporting the judicial system and providing it with qualified professionals.
He highlighted the judiciary’s crucial role in safeguarding rights and promoting security and stability in the community, expressing pride in its longstanding achievements.
HM the King made the statements as he received yesterday the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, the President of the Constitutional Court, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and judges.
The judges were sworn in before His Majesty following their appointment by royal decree to the Constitutional Court, the Court of Cassation, and the High Court of Appeal.
HM King Hamad congratulated the newly appointed judges and wished them success in their roles, emphasising the importance of upholding justice and the rule of law.
He also praised Bahrain’s judiciary for its commitment to protecting the rights of both citizens and residents.
