Alba Welcomes Fahad Danish as New Chief Human Resources Officer

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the world’s largest aluminium smelter on one site, announced the appointment of Fahad Mohamed Abdulla Danish as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) effective 27 October 2024.
In this newly established role, Fahad will spearhead Alba’s Human Resources strategy, overseeing all aspects of talent management, including workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, compensation, and benefits.
With over 15 years of experience in human resources, Fahad brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success. Before joining Alba, he held senior leadership positions at prominent Bahraini companies including Beyon (Bahrain Telecommunications Company), Bahrain International Circuit, KPMG – Bahrain & Qatar and Ernst & Young – Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA).
Commenting on the CHRO’s appointment, Alba’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Khalid Al Rumaihi stated: “We are delighted to welcome Fahad as Alba’s Chief Human Resources Officer. His extensive experience in talent management will be invaluable as we continue to build high-performance culture that drives our growth and innovation.”

Looking forward to his new role from 27 October 2024, Fahad Mohamed Abdulla Danish stated: “I’m excited to join Alba and contribute to its continued success. Fahad holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology. He also completed executive education courses at the University of Strathclyde and Harvard Business School.
