Filipino educator Ruth Mirhan Orense, who has dedicated 17 years to teaching in Bahrain, has been selected for a prestigious exchange program in the US. The Ambassador Exchange Teacher program selects teachers from around the world who demonstrate teaching excellence and a deep commitment to enhancing educational practices and strengthening cultural ties. Selected educators participate in professional development and share best practices with educators in the US.
The selection of Orense, vice president of the Filipino Writers’ Circle (FilWrite) Bahrain and a committed educator, underscores a rigorous evaluation process that recognises her exceptional teaching skills and commitment to education. “I’m happy to be part of this exchange program. It will enhance my teaching methods and relate with fellow educators,” said Orense.
