MP Hamad Aldoy has formally requested the formation of an investigative committee to examine alleged unethical conduct and regulatory violations occurring in a private coastal area within the Amwaj Islands development.
His statement, shared on social media, specifically highlights claims of widespread unethical practices and breaches of regulations by a homeowners' association.
Aldoy's statement emphasises that these practices are incompatible with the traditions and values of Muharraq, the island where Amwaj is located, and are inconsistent with Bahraini religious and cultural norms. He voiced concerns that such conduct undermines the integrity of the community and tarnishes the image of the development.
In an effort to encourage transparency and accountability, Aldoy provided his personal contact number, 34015555, inviting residents to report any complaints or violations they have witnessed.
He stressed the importance of community involvement in addressing these issues and ensuring that the values of the local culture are upheld. The request for an investigative committee is expected to be looked into by the Parliament in the up-coming session.
