ASRY Organizes Breast Cancer Awareness Event

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Company (ASRY) held a dedicated event focused on cancer prevention, in collaboration with the Bahrain Free Labor Unions Federation. The event, hosted at ASRY's headquarters in Hidd, aimed to educate attendees on the importance of early screening in combating the spread of breast cancer, improving recovery rates, and enhancing overall quality of life.

The event featured presentations from specialists and included a compelling testimony from a cancer survivor who shared her recovery journey. Additionally, an exhibition was organized, showcasing products from various pharmacies in the Kingdom, offering attendees a range of health and beauty items.

Fatema AlMajed, ASRY's Corporate Communications Manager, emphasized the company's commitment to promoting health awareness and supporting initiatives that encourage a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for its employees. Female employees from ASRY actively participated in the event, furthering the company’s mission to enhance health education and preventive measures within the workplace.
