The inspections were part of the LMRA's ongoing commitment to uphold the laws governing the labor market and residency in the Kingdom of Bahrain. During this period, several violations concerning various regulatory provisions were identified, prompting the authority to take legal action against the offenders.
The LMRA reported that 1,491 of these inspections focused on various businesses across all governorates, along with 32 joint inspection campaigns. The breakdown of these joint campaigns included:
17 campaigns in the Capital Governorate
3 campaigns in the Muharraq Governorate
6 campaigns in the Northern Governorate
6 campaigns in the Southern Governorate
The authority emphasized the importance of these inspections in ensuring compliance with labor laws and maintaining a fair work environment for all residents in Bahrain. The LMRA continues to work diligently to monitor labor practices and protect the rights of workers in the Kingdom.
