Türkiye Celebrates 101st Republic Day in Bahrain: A Fond Farewell for Ambassador Esin Çakıl

The 101st anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye was celebrated today at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel in a grand event graced by the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bahrain, Her Excellency Esin Çakıl. The evening marked a significant moment as it was the Ambassador’s final event before concluding her diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and His Excellency Lieutenant General Doctor Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, who represented the Bahraini government at the event.
The celebration began with an opening address by Ambassador Çakıl, where she underscored the importance of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, a reminder of Türkiye's continued call for peace in the region. The Ambassador's remarks resonated with the ongoing challenges in the Middle East, emphasizing the need for humanitarian efforts.
The event culminated in a traditional cake-cutting ceremony, where all the dignitaries, including Bahraini officials and members of the diplomatic community, participated. The ceremony symbolized the strong bilateral ties between Türkiye and Bahrain, with attendees lauding Ambassador Çakıl’s contributions during her tenure in the Kingdom.
