India Festival kicks off at Al Jazira Zinj Supermarket

The vibrant India Festival 2024 has officially commenced with a grand inauguration ceremony held earlier today at the Al Jazira Zinj Supermarket. The festival, which celebrates the rich culture and traditions of India, will run from October 29th to November 10th, 2024.

The festival was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Vinod K. Jacob (Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain) alongside distinguished guests including Abdul Rahman Juma (Chairman, Bahrain India Society), Prof. Dr. Nandita Sengupta (Head of IT Dept, University College of Bahrain), V K Thomas (Chairman, ICRF Bahrain), Abdul Hussein Khalil Dawani (Chairman - Al Jazira Group), Ujjal Kumar Mukherjee (CEO - Al Jazira Group). Visitors can indulge in a variety of delicious Indian cuisine, featuring from savoury street food to delectable sweets from Madura.

Many other traditional Indian food products have been specifically imported for the event to showcase India’s vibrant food culture.
